There are so many people out there, in churches, public office, schools, and our homes. Society is telling us that we aren’t worth anything, that we are insufficient, and dirty, that we are sinners and failures.
We are told that we fuck wrong, that our sex is bad sex, and that we are defined by our genitals, and their relation to others’, and that when we feel good, it’s because we are doing something wrong.Masturbation is revolutionary because it says “I DESERVE TO FEEL GOOD” it says that I know what my body likes, I know what gets me off, and that is fucking fabulous. Masturbation is loving yourself, and that in and of itself is an act of rebellion against all of those people that would make you feel as if you are anything less then the amazing, sexy human creature that you are.
I always say that since I already have my middle finger up at the establishment, I might as well do something useful with it.

This is the 2nd trans*/genderqueer student to self-identify in the past school year. I am SO happy that our students are starting to feel safe and supported enough to make their presence known in our school community.
